Joshua Seth Stevens has law practice which concentrates in the areas of Criminal Defense (Felonies/Misdemeanors/DWI/Traffic Tickets/Summons) and personal injury. He truly cares about the people he helps and has numerous testimonials from satisfied clients. From patiently walking a client through the court process to fervently defending that client, Joshua is always a professional and both his clients and colleagues are appreciative.

Joshua earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Maryland in 1999 and went on to attend St. John’s University School of Law. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2005. Thus began a career that would talk him down a somewhat unusual yet interesting path.

It was during Joshua’s time at the University of Maryland that he began a career in professional sports where he worked with the Washington Wizards. After college graduation he became a paralegal supervisor at the New York law offices of Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto. During law school, Joshua turned his interests back to sports and became very active with the Sports & Entertainment Law Society. He authored several articles and papers on sports agents and legal issues that they deal with on a regular basis.

In 2005, after Joshua was admitted to the NY State Bar, he became a licensed contract advisor for the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA). Now, he is working in the two areas that he loves most: law and sports. He is a football agent in addition to having a thriving legal practice.

Joshua’s clients describe him as “one of the good guys,” saying that while he is extremely knowledgeable of the law, he is also a great people person who truly cares about his clients. He has consistently demonstrated high ethical standards as both a sports agent and an attorney. He is compassionate for his clients but passionate in the courtroom. He is accessible and has an easy going manner with his clients by putting them at ease and talking them through their case to alleviate stress and fear.

His phone is always on and he can be reached at all times of the day (718) 640-5060.
